Velcro strips to hold it on underneath board are not long enough to reach each other

I ordered this item on line when i received it there were several boot marks on the box and the top of the ironing board was bent in a couple places

I was able to bend it back into place saving me the time crowds and gas to return it

As mentioned in some of the other reviews the velcro straps are not long enough to fit the width of the ironing board

I just ordered an extra thick pad size 18 x 48 in order to fix this issue
