After a couple of years it began leaking water on the counter - apparently many buyers experienced this issue.

After reading many reviews of this cuisinart, nobody mentioned the leaking problem.

Make sure that you grind your beans properly, if you do so too finely the water won't filter through the grinds as efficiently, and you run the risk of it backing up and leaking.
