The rooms are clean and spacious. From reception to the valet, to housekeeping to the coffee bar - always smiles, friendly, accommodating. The bathrooms in the two different rooms reflect various stages of remodeling.

Not too close into the heart of waikiki but walkable to everywhere. The location is right on the end of waiki beach—walkable but still a bit quieter than being right in the middle of it.

I subtract a few point because the bed was a little lumpy. I visit hawaii at least once a year and the queen kapiolani is my first and only choice for accommodations.

Service is terrible (chub asian male at the front). The only thing that was the saving grace for the hotel is the staff especially the valet staff. If you are looking to come to waikiki with family and rent a car, this hotel is not for you.

Upon checking out i was told there is a $212. Upon further inspection, there was a charge for the correct amount plus a pending charge for that amount again. Who the * hides fees in the fine print buried several paragraphs down in the reservation rece...  Read More

Shower is small and blasted water everywhere. The pool is small, and the pool area is covered in artificial turf. Only about 6 lounge chairs were there.
