Pros & Cons
Pros
Located in a small street between endless cafés, restaurants, boutiques and supermarkets. Yes the metro runs under the hotel site but it is not invasive nor extremely loud. Great central location with huge variety of restaurants, cafes and food shops ... Read More
Staff at the hotel are really nice and welcoming. Andre and claire at the front desk are incredible. A safe, classy, beautiful hotel with the most friendly staff.
Loved the little scrambled eggs in its own copper pan. Restaurant very good and rooms are tiny but very well equipped. Food and bar offerings are superb - creative menu choices.
This looks and feels like a freshly renovated hotel. Wonderful stylish hotel with beautiful rooms in the vibey yet elegant 2nd arrondisement. Interior design is very fascinating. The look is very cosy and chic!
Cons
Restaurant has a really limited menu - no option for a quick snack, even in your room. The weak point is the staff.
The smell of old kitchen grease permeates the whole third floor. Also the smell in the hallways and the rooms is undescribably bad. The sound of the subway is that loud that it feels the the french metro drives through the building….
I was infuriated. Never coming back. My president also stays at the hotel, and we called to cancel his future reservations. No apology, and gave no assurance to help fix the situation.
