I do acknowledge that the boat is independant of the hostel and bet el kerem have no power over the service it provides

We had chosen bet el kerem because of the numerous reviews stating how welcoming the host was

However we encountered a lot of problems during our stay firstly the house is quite remote

It is on the west bank of aswan which is pretty difficult to access as the ferry that crosses the nile is only once per hour between 6 am and 11 pm
