The pad is small but thick and textured and does not fold up when swiping it around on my face

This is a pretty strong peel pad that you can feel tingling so if you want something gentle look elsewhere

I do find that these make my skin very irritated and red so much so that even with using these at night my cheeks are still red in the morning in a broken capillaries way not a good way
