Pros

The paring knife is razor sharp and does my salads easily. Despite the thinness of the blade, it is particularly good for taking cooked corn off the cob.

This pair is the perfect kitchen scissor for those everyday kitchen tasks. The scissors are excellent, as is the blade of the paring knife. The handles are almost as sturdy as well.

Kitchen shears have so many uses that the average armchair chef fails to realize. When i open and close, the slight swish just speaks of excellent craftmanship.

Cons

The paring knife is really cheaply made. Not typical henckel standards.

Quality

This paring knife just isn't anywhere near the quality of the old ones i already have.

This set arrived and i am very pleased with the fine quality.

2nd pleasant surprise was when i received them and found them to be of such good quality.

The kitchen shears just feel better quality - when i open and close, the slight swish just speaks of excellent craftmanship.

Price

Price is good for just the scissors so it’s a bonus i guess (and the only reason this gets 4 vs 5 stars.

The price is really fair and i couldn't expect more for how much i paid.

Shipping

99 for both the scissors and a paring knife, including super saver shipping, this is a screaming deal.

I want my henckels to stay very sharp so i choose not to abuse them with cutting shipping card board.

Packaging/appearance

The scissors are handy in my kitchen for opening my mail, cutting any paper or plastic packaging, and for doing my flower arrangements.

Was looking for a good kitchen paring knife and kitchen scissors.

Competitiveness

Every knife for the past 16 years in my kitchen has been and is a (2man) henckels.

Actually, i have a very old set of henkels knives; i think they are the 4 star.

I tend to baby my henckels products so i choose not the open cardboard shipping packages with them, i have a pair of scotch sci...  Read More

The one i've received wasn't close from description picture, and ''made in spain'' wich for me, looks like a wrong description.

The handle of the paring knife has unfortunately been changed to a light, cheap plastic, unlike what is shown in the online image.
