The remotevolume control work fine with the tv if the humax is on the humax remote does both this may be different with other equipment
Competitiveness
Far better sound than the tv output
Its no frills compared to other soundbars no bluetooth etc but it does what it does very well better than the old sony lsr100
My wife has hearing problems and this soundbar has solved that with setting at 12 as apposed to 52 volume on the tv

So decided to give this a try but unfortunately could not really say we found much difference and could not tune it to our remote control so had to use the remote separately that was inconvenient so we returned this item

O ly criticism is will be bought y many older people suffering with hearing loss and the remote control is a bit on the small side
