It simply vacuums all the air out of the bag and stays fresher longer
This time the air was vacuumed out of the bag and then sealed correctly success finally
I could hear the unit cycle and attempt to vacuum the air out of the bag

I have a vacuum sealer but it doesnt want to seal the package unless i hold the bottom in with my hand instead of by just pushing the bottom piece in as it should be done

This unit compared to the more expensive one requires that you really read the manual but unfortunately it leaves a lot to be desired

I assumed that all with the exception of the cord were replacment parts and once i opened the unit up and found duplicates of all these inside the sealer i knew i was correct

What had me confused was why they would supply a bag containing two replacements if that were the case
