Pros

Thie allows these smaller solid state drives tobe connected as an external drive. It is essential for migrating data from one drive to your new, faster ssd.

Well made, stylish, fully functional device. Well worth 20 bucks. Gold saves you a few bucks over black.

No issues with fitment of the m. Copying from my internal m. Excellent product, and worked flawlessly with my m. Upgraded my m.

I think the aluminum is probably better than plastic for heat dissipation.

Cons

Internal ssd (mz-v5p512bw) heats up like crazy, detects as a bad usb device on multiple ports and multiple computers. Am worried that this damaged my $400 ssd. Maybe this case hates skylake processor.
