I have a ring alarm system and the range extender that comes with it seems to be really weak often unable to connect from the landing into the two bedrooms and sometimes losing its connection to the base downstairs

I took a chance on buying it because neither site zooz nor ring list the other as supported but everything i have read says that if they are standard zwave they will communicate

Ring doesnt know its a range extender but that doesnt stop it from working

I only saw 2 zwave range extenders ring available on amazon the one that seems to be recommended wouldnt really work for me as it has no internal battery and if someone were to break into my house the first thing they would do is turn the power off at the breaker on the street plus where i live i have frequent power outages
