Pros
For now, we keep them covered with beds and blankets which do not slide off because of the attached carpet layer.
Cons
Part of the frame split during assembly, it wobbles a bit. It quickly dissipates. I have asthma and severe allergies, now one of my super senior girls seems to have both as well, thus fully carpeted trees are a no go now.

I did add screwin rubber bumpers to the bottom because we mop the floors in the rooms and did not want to risk the base sitting on a damp floor even though it is painted
