We got it to store our noninvincible actual play toys for our dog so he has something to interact with that isnt just a chew toy and not get into them while were at work

The box ix attractive however the lid is not very sturdy

I realize it is not something you could sit on but my 9 lb cat got up on it and it is caving in and the sides as also a little flimsy

I put some heavy cardboard inside the lid to shore it up but it is still looking dented
