Its a pretty simple design nothing wrong with that and i had considered making something similar myself

I would suggest one minor change to their design and that would be to increase the size of the counterbores on the underside of the base and add flat washers under the screw heads to spread the clamping force of the fasteners a bit better

The stand looks like a piece of furniture with its dark walnut accented by a light skunk stripe

I have no fears of knocking it over youd have to be trying quite hard to do so in which case you deserve a damaged instrument the stand breaking or the guitars falling off the hanger

And because the guitar hangs instead of resting on a stand the minitoggle switches on the body of the guitar do not touch the support structure as they did on my old guitar stand

The bottom line on these is they are terrible

They all are made for super lightweight and cheap tubing
