Accuracy for wood studs under drywall is good other modes are not as accurate did not see a power trunk line in 1 wall

The old one just had a row of 4 leds see attached photo that showed you where the edge of the stud was by progressively lighting as you reached the edge of a stud then deeming as you crossed the edge on the other side

But it wasnt consistent for finding the center of the stud
