Pros
The battery insertion and extraction is a little tricky, but not too hard to figure out. -9v battery included.
Cons
There are not any instructions inside or outside of the packaging which inform the consumer that the front snaps off and the battery is inserted below. And then yack. Not even close.
The zircon stud sensor shows miscalibration 95% of the time. Even when i know exactly where the stud is, this thing gives false readings. Really, tapping the wall with my knuckles was only slightly less accurate.
This has to be one of the poorest designed products i've ever come across. It's not worth returning to antonline (seller) because they did not even respond to my return request.

After striking out with 2 different stud finders made by pittsburgh i tried this one based on the review here

I contacted the seller and they immediately refunded my money

Afterwards i realized that i inadvertently was using all but dead batteries which had enough juice to activate the green led but not enough to sense any studs as it were
