Pros
It is sturdy and easy to assemble. Took less than 20 mins to assemble. All metal and has horizontal bars so will definitely hold a heavy king size mattress.
Memory foam mattress fits perfectly on the box spring. Shaped like a fitted sheet, with a drawstring to tighten it.
Cons
The mattress hangs off the side a little on the front and two sides. The support slats are very narrow and very far apart, causing the mattress to sag inbetween them. The metal bars were rubbing on the wood of my platform, making a lot of noise.

That was a huge blast and a nice deal for us

Also the amazon delivery man was so nice helped me take the packages upstairs
The 1st time it was delivered to the wrong address but thats a carrier issue
I tried this one because i urgently needed to get one quickshipped to my son who was away at university
A replacement was shipped at no cost and arrived as scheduled
Packaging/appearance
Everything packaged well in box and makes no noise with my mattress
I bought this as a christmas present and it was just the best little box spring i ever seen
Read the fine print before ordering as i thought this also came with a frame it does not
I was so doubtful that a 34box spring34 in such a small box could possibly be sturdy

As with all zinus products ive tried assembly was easy included ratchet drive was a blessing fasteners are top quality

However if youre buying this to fit on top of a metal frame where your primary contact is the perimeter it will just slip and slide all over unless you mcgyver a way to secure it

It was an unfortunate surprise for me but i drilled out holes at the head and foot and secured the unit with nuts and bolts then put on the cover

The slats of the assembled box spring are 12 inch in width meanwhile the distance between slats is 6 12 inches

Most if not all foam mattress makers recommend a wider slat and a minimum 3 inches distance between slats
