Pros & Cons
Pros
All other brands of xylitol i have tried are grainy and coarse. It is actually is, in my former dentist's words, a cavity preventor. Use it as a dental hygiene wash and with my toothpaste.
Zint organic xylitol tastes great and it is just like sugar. It dissolves well in coffee or tea. I also like to make a simple syrup out of it that offers a lot of versatility.
Cons
This xylitol has a gi of 13, which is low, but not 0 and will affect ketosis. Its made with organic corn cobs and is of a clumpy consistency.
Not as keto friendly as stevia or erythritol. It is perplexing that my daughter had a reaction to it; perhaps there is a gluten contamination issue. I have gerd so i'm not surprised that it caused such distress to my digestive system.
Inferior product. Not satisfied. I feel like the description was misleading.
