This is not a pretender deli slicer, it's the real thing. This one is very close to the ones in the deli dept. Psssst wana buy a watch?
Yes, it is a bit of a pain to clean if you want to disassemble it but use it when you're gonna slice a lot of meat and the time saving is worth it. Easy to clean and not too heavy, easy to carry.

Either they were shipped not bolted in properly or they came loose during the ship instructions are pooroveralli would recommend this to anyone who wants a good professional level deli slicer for home use

To fix this i had to actually break of the outer plastic material on the knob as well as drill a hole into the shaft of the thickness knove to then drive the set screws into it

This could be fixed by the mfg by either adding an indent into the thickness selector shaft using set screws that have points to dig into the shaft and increasing the depth of the knurling cut on the shaft for the thickness selector
