Bright flashing light is emitted from the mouse to signal each change. My son wishes he could keep it on one color if he chooses to.
Great mouse, does everything i want it to do. Works well with linux mint 17. My son is using it for his college classes - he is taking maya, an animation program.
The usb cable is braided and is very high quality. After going from a cordless mouse to this one it it taking some time for me to get used to the weight. Each button works fine, and the cord is not so rigid as to impede mouse movement.
Cons
The mouse can't be set to one color permanently.
The * of the left and right side of the mouse double clicked with one click. This results to my second problem as well, apparently the scroll clicked two to three times. It keeps double clicking when i click the left button.

A little gaudy with the bright leds but comfortable in the hand and works well as a normal mouse and a gaming mouse
Cons the build quality appears okay but i noticed that the bottom is ever so slightly not perfectly flat
They are not bright and go very well with the mouse

The price also helps cushion these types of potential problems
But then again it was a steal at the price i paid

Being able to adjust the sensitivity via the dpi toggle on the mouse is very handy for many reasons including switching between apps like photo editing and web browsing

The light flash 7 times and then stay to constant changing status could not stop at certain one color thats exactly what it says

The mouse easily broke upon dropping it from my table to my chair once and now every time i move it it sounds like a chunk on the inside is loose
