I had to use a converter for the trailer receptacle so it would be converted to a 4 pin

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The problem with that is that the 4 pin connector on the led strip didnt work correctly with my adapter which was ok because i ended up cutting the connector off and just making hardwire connections into my tail light assembly

The color coding of the wires them self is correct on the directions but the 4 pin plug just wouldnt work for my chevy truck

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

If you dont mind wiring this up yourself you will save yourself some money otherwise take it to have it installed

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The product i received the amber lights acting as brake lights seem to be correct but i was hoping the product had some kind of switch to detect both signals to trigger the red leds but then realized that would conflict with having the hazard lights on so it makes sense it wouldnt be designed that way

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The illustration in the manual shows the pin next to the ground as the brake lamp

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

But it is not its simply the tail light running lights which is the reason they turn on when i turn my lights on

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The current design the lights will conflict with each other
