Pros
Turn it on, remove the bottom part and immerse partway into a glass of water. It accurately measures the particles in your water before and after filtering. Product is functionally good, gives proper readings.
Cons
Distilled water is the only thing that tests at zero, but not consistently. Batteries were completely corroded and stopped working after one week. Once the novelty of knowing what your total dissolved solids are, it's sorta useless.
