On less hard ice cream this cuts through like a breeze. Works fine for me but my wife struggles a little. Works great and slices right through ice cream.

It cuts through frozen solid ice cream like a hot knife through butter. With a flick of your wrist, it creates nice almost perfect balls of ice cream. It is easier than using regular spoon.

Cons

The 'heated handle' gimmick is essentially useless. Maybe a person with massive big hands and no less than 200 lbs body insulation for warmth in the hands. A sturdy spoon works much better for me.

The machining is terrible. Just really poor finish. Not safe in my opinion. I'm truly baffled by the glowing reviews on here.
