The binding seems sturdy and the paper is very similar to the paper in the moleskine art sketchbooks. The paper is heavy but lacks real tooth which is fine for me since i mostly use fountain pens and various inks with some ink wash.

This is a great sketchbook to carry around or have on your desk like i do. It isn't hardcover and that is fine with me. This notebook is the perfect size for my travel notebook and has a really cute and durable cover. I love that it's pretty compact.

This sketchbook is a good size--not too tiny/cramped and not overwhelmingly large. Perfect for quick sketching and i just love the size of it! It folds open flat so you can use both sides if you want to do something bigger.

The book looks durable and sturdy, but i keep my sketchbooks in a book cover so that they do not have a lot of wear. The pages are very soft and thin, which is very appealing for drawing. The elastic band protects the pages.

This is an excellent notebook for sketches, shading, and light coloring. For whatever reason this thing loves acrylic paint. I’m planing to use this one mostly for watercolor and the first drawing just worked very well!

Very disappointed in the overall quality of this sketchbook. But it smells horrible. Just touching the journal transfers to the smell to my hands. I'm sorry but it's going in the trash.
