Pros & Cons
Pros
Light weight, good optics, good stability. Great magnification for handheld use. Good eye relief for glasses wearers. Great optic quality.
Amazing for backpacking light. Excellent clarity, lightweight, compact.
Zeiss and leica monoculars are excellent, but excel in different ways. Leica's turn knob system does not focus as quickly; however, it retains focus much better. I am a fan of sony so zeiss is my first choice.
Cons
The cylinder assembly is plastic. This makes it lightweight, but also not as robust as aluminum of say a mini maglite.

The plastic zeiss is much lighter than the all metal leica

Please note that the focus is based on a pullpush system which is good and bad once you master the technique focusing is faster than leicas turn knob system but it is easier to bump the tube and lose focus again if you are not careful

The other thing that makes the zeiss is defensive to the leica version is that there it is not nitrogen filled it is not weatherproof

I would not recommend using the zeiss in the rain
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The zeiss is also much cheaper than the leica as well
