After using this card printer for a couple of weeks i had nothing but problems with cards jamming yes i used the exact card type specified by the manufacturer ribbon leaving pieces on the finished cards yes genuine ribbon was used and very poor quality cards produced
The only issue i had was a white bar on the bottom of the design that i didnt like where the printer wasnt applying the design on the white card but i figured out how to remove that by fiddling with the xy coordinate settings
I bought some cardstudio software to go with it but that product is a poor design graphics product and if you only want to design any app can work with the supplied printer driver
Its fast quiet and the output quality is pretty good
