Comes with the measuring cup to pour the water in and i add 23 drops of my favorite essential oil put the top back on and press the only button on the machine

It lights up different colors when its turned on but you can have it set at a single color or not have the light on at all

Unfortunately its an electronic offon so once you unplug it the device resets to off

I think the design is a little larger than i would like but that would not be a reason i wouldnt recommend the product

But remember to use filtered water or distilled water so the water wont build sediments on it
