These foam particle filters are a perfect fit for our old cat fountain water dish. They work perfectly for my cats drinkwell avalon fountain. They love their fountain.

My recent shipment suggests the manufacturer is making negative changes to the product to lower costs while charging the same price to consumers. Though i hate wasting money, i will bite the bullet and toss these out. Will never purchase again.

They are considerably thinner than the previous product. They feel much weaker and flimsier than the first order. Different shades of white/gray, squished out of shape. They're not even the same size anymore.

I fear they will not hold up to rinse and re-use. Doesn't fit like the original and has a very bad chemical odor. There is no way i could in good conscience use these filters in the fountain my cat drinks from.

The rounded side of the filter is noticibly less dense. This is not a simply a case of the new filters just being squished from shipping.
