It was shipped next day.
The hat band is a nice thick ribbon that will not just fall off. It is not stiff. The design has enough depth to let true hat size work.
Cons
This hat is so cheap, flimsy, and one could do better in walmart or even the dollar tree! This hat looks like it could be used for halloween, and for almost $30? Very disappointed. It arrived in plastic bag and was broken and bent.

If you wanted to change the color of the band you could easily place a 1 12 ribbon over it

I placed the hat on a flat surface and weighted each side down and left the hat for awhile and the brim did flatten out

Will only be able to wear it when we are anchored because it might fly off in the wind very easily
