Pros

Everyone gravitates to the hood and says they love it! This vent exhausts all the smell, smoke and heat when on the highest setting.

It looks good and it seems to * a lot of air in. The stainless construction is solid, with a clean contemporary appearance. The cfm's are awesome.

With 4 speeds you can choose, it really brightens the kitchen! The pans on the back of the cooktop are well lit. The lighting is very important to me because it lights what i am cooking more than my overhead lighting.

The fan in this unit is powerful and because of that there is not any build up of grease around the kitchen and ceiling areas anymore. The 760cfm works really good with my commercial stove at home. We're getting ready to redo the kitchen at our beach ... Read More

The unit does a great job of extracting those fumes out of the kitchen. It cleans up so easy.

Cons

Very disappointing level of qc from the manufacturer. Buyer beware. Would never recommend this product to a friend. Other than looking very nice and have had plenty of compliments, this item appears to be junk if it only last less than 6 months.

This product did require a new light kit very soon and one just before the three year warranty expired

Price

I bought this as an open box item and therefore a reduced price but its a great hood regardless

At that time i paid 300 which i presumed to be very reasonable

Had the motor quit on a 17 year 36” broan hood that i had paid 1600 for in 2003

Looks much more expensive than what it is

Shipping

Their customer service replied to our email quickly and arranged for a replacement hood

They sent it in quickly with no charge

However when i contacted customer service on their website i got a call back the same day and they sent me a new light kit
