Pros

They're great to avoid overpaying for pre-wired solar cables. The gaskets seems to seal well and the locking tabs hold well even after a few cycles of connecting. These adapters fit all of my mc4 adapters.

They also come with their own mc4 wrench. My only complaint is in the packaging.

Cons

The plastic used to manufacture these is brittle making it very easy to break locking tangs when attempting to disconnect them. Don't waste your time, or at least go through the whole pack and test the mating fit.

You would never get them off if you were diagnosing any issues or reconfiguring your diy solar system. Impossible to separate right from the box (they come plugged into each other).
