I did have a problem with a sata to usb 3 cable but through doing a test identified the cable i got wasnt usap compliant

So if you get one of these drives to use as a external drive get a uasp sata to usb 3 cable to best use the better read write speeds

Ironically the uasp sata to usb3 was the same price as the other on amazon
