I didn't have a profile in slic3r for this filament, but i noticed that it called for a 200c to 220c nozzle temperature, so i loaded up the generic pla profile just to see if it'd work.

I also increased retraction distance to 2mm as a precaution, even though stringing isn't an issue for the sorts of things i print.

Retract doesn't work because of the flexible nature of the filament.

Once i finally got those all right, and it did take me awhile, it started printing consistently without errors.

I really did not expect to be able to print flexible filament on my ancient davnci 1.

There were some issues loading the filament simply because the extruder speed was too high for automatic loading.
