Can get knocked over with side ward motion however if you add velcro where contacts with desk you should be fine

Quibble for the amount of weight this is supposed to carry the clip goes too deep into the table thereby taking up work space

Thats good if you have a really large cup or want a big target for the times youre not paying attention when youre putting your drink down but it means normalsized glasses could get knocked out of the holder with a firmenough blow to the top of the glass
