The youshiko seems robustly made. It has a clear screen that can be viewd from a range of angles.
Yes, the sensors are weatherproof, no problem. The first is downstairs with the sensor near the front of the house and this one sits upstairs and has the outside sensor at the rear.

To achieve that on this youshiko you have to remember to reset the maxmin button every night which is quite annoying
