Pros
Green is normal, amber is slight fever and red is high fever. Reading is quite quick and responsive, also colour warning for amber and warning body temp.
It appears to be ergonomically designed. The batteries were easy to insert.
A no contact thermometer is handy to have for the family. Good for checking all the family's temperatures. No messing about with this.
It is possible to choose centigrade or farenheit by pressing the mode button on the rear. Can be changed from celcius to celsius. Reads the forehead temp in seconds.
Press the start button once to take the forehead spot or ear measurements. The forehead scan measurement is slightly different. Can be used to take forehead temperature by pressing the button from half an inch to two inches away.
Cons
There is a leaflet, but it isn't much help. Readings fluctuate somewhat, so it isn’t reliable. The cap is quite stiff and it relies on little plastic lugs to keep it in place.

I took all my familys temperature forehead and then checked with a tommy tipee probe and found the results to be consistent and accurate

Taking the cover off the thermometer reveals the probe that can take the temperature inside the ear which is likely to be more accurate

We have had a digital thermometer scanner for the past few years and sadly it stopped working recently
