Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The yn 35mm fills the standard lens usage for street photography instead of the 50mm. Being a crop sensor camera the lens produces great bokeh. Autofocus is noisy but fast enough. This lense make a little noise but not bothersome.

This is a great addition to any photographer's kit. Focus is razor sharp and the colors are rich and vibrant. Colours and contrast are quite nice and the lens is able to retain details against bright sunlight.

Cons

It shoots like a 50mm, with zero capability to photograph wide-angled photos. Sharpness is not even good when you can get a nikkor lens for not much more. Not a a millimeter or 2 off, like the whole subject is out of focus kind of off.

Low light focusing performance is nil. Highlight fringing is uncontrollable on certain objects. Vignetting is controlled, but not very well.

I have a nikon d500 and being a crop sensor the 35 mm fills the standard lens usage for street photography instead of the 50 mm

Shooting this on a nikon d700 fx camera has its ups and downs

Its not the most sturdy construction ever but consider the price
