Pros

Autofocus is a bit noisy, though (so is the canon version). It is noisy as it auto focuses but again not a big concern for me. The focus is sort of hunt-and-* even on a newer canon 7d, but those don't even come close to overshadowing the value of this... Read More

Quality is good and is a great dupe for beginners.

The optical quality seems dead on. No graininess. No are etc no distortions. For students and typical after hours photographers they are great.

This is very desirable to some photogs, especially for portraits. Bokeh looks great and it's slight softness makes it a nice wide portrait lens on a crop sensor camera. Great wide aperture for the price.

With the crop factor, it behaves like a 56mm lens. At this price point, it's almost a no-brainer to have as a creative addition if you don't have a lens at this focal length.

Cons

After fixing it and continuing to use it the lense housing inside finally became wedged. Tried it on five separate canon same result.

Have bad it a few months and honestly didn’t expect it to be so durable for the price but it’s great and the quality is good for my needs

But overall yongnuo makes a decent lens for a fraction of the cost

This is good lens for ma canon m50 with viltrox speed booster

I bought this and a yongnuo 1

I will probably buy more of these yongnuo lenses until i can afford some real glass someday
