Pros

This is where i think i erred. I know this mat is expensive but so far, i feel it’s worth it and have zero buyers remorse. If you're an advanced yoga practitioner or serious about yoga, this is an investment worth making.

Cons

It has a very cheap feel and not enough padding. The worst part is that it started falling apart after a couple weeks! Now i need to use a towel, because it is very slippery. I am disappointed because it was definitely more than what i spent on my lul...  Read More

Quality

Again i cannot say enough about the quality of the mat

I did a lot of research on line before spending so much on a mat and i’m quite happy with the grip and amount of cushion here

Price

The price is on the higher side but if you’re someone who is serious about hot yoga and sweats a lotdo not hesitate to buy this mat

Is big for me as a union electrician ‘i buy american’

Packaging/appearance

I keep a towel nearby to blot the sweat puddles and the mat gets its grip back fairly quickly

Competitiveness

I bought a 130 manduka mat that was slippery even when not wet

If this mat lasts a couple years or more i will def repurchase another

The company’s marketing is not lying when they say it gets more grippy when wet

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This increase in grip is to a point that i sometimes drizzle some water onto it before a class to get the grip going from the start

If i had to be critical of the mat at all i’d say that it’s different from others in that you have to roll it in one direction only to protect the cork upper layer’s adhesion to the backer and you don’t want to stuff it in a locker because it can crease after the 2 times i’ve done this the crease has disappeared by the next day but ymmv

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The bottom has a hole in it and the cork is pulling away from the mat

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The reviews were excellent and several articles i found also gave it good reviews so i closed my eyes and ignored the price while hitting the buy button hoping for the best and that i made the right decision

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It has a light odor but basically your nose needs to be on the mat to really smell it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I don’t know about everyone else but the ends rolling on my other mat while i was trying to workout was always very distracting and annoying to me
