The settings are easy enough to figure out if you have an hour to spent testing them through trial and error but the instruction manual and product suffer from bad translation issues

The only other problems are tiny things like the supplied lavaliere mic not producing the best quality recordings navigating the menus being a bit confusing and crackling sounds if you move it around whilst recording

On recording input if you want to record with an external mic like the lavaliere one supplied the setting you want is the telephone one not the line one even though the input port says line

This is why i recommend testing thoroughly before actual usemake sure to set the setting for when the recorder auto turns off to save battery up to its max 120mins if you dont want it to cut out midrecording
