The yoga paws stop you from slipping on your yoga mat. They are also great with a mat, for extra cushioning. The yps allow for a different relationship with the floor.
These are perfect. The little complaint doesn't affect the usability. The pandemic helped me find yoga.

When i do want to switch back to my knuckles the stiff padding on the palms gets a little bit in the way but otherwise they work just fine even though they probably were not intended for this maneuver

The top of the glove covers my knuckles just enough with the seam placed to the front of the joints where it wont get in the way of bearing weight

Normally they come down to the first knuckle and that makes wearing rings impossible
