Pros & Cons

Pros

The cover is smooth to the touch and does not feel rough or itchy. The quality seems good and weight distribution/coverage adequate for a single sleeper.

This blanket is great for calming my nervous system and helping me sleep with lest movement so i get a deep and restful sleep. Bought this blanket for my 11 year old granddaughter. My other granddaughter has autism and it helps to calm her.

It's heavy for sure and takes getting used to but i use it when i'm laying on my couch to watch tv. Got the 15lbs. I'm 6'1 and about 80kg and i find the blanket a little heavy.

The 60×80 magnolia print is very beautiful and well made. The beads are distributed very well as the quilted pockets are small.

Cons

The blanket gets all lumpy inside the small cover. The cover too is very slippery. It feels like sandpaper and is extremely stiff.

It's very thin and the material is not very nice and cushy. Weight is not distributed evenly, it clumps.

The material used in the blanket is very good quality

Good quality material very heavy but not crazy helps the sleep a lot

Apprehensive to purchase due to mixed feedback from various ‘weighted blanket’ owners

Also very poor stitching along the edges the majority was raw edges

Highly recommend 80 cad for 20lbs is cheaper than ones i’ve seen in local bed shops ive seen some as high as 125160

This blanket was a decent price and helps me sleep better

I have been wanting a weighted blanket fir some time now and this one is pretty okay for its price

Shipping

Two boxes plus the box it was shipped in

Packaging/appearance

The only concern i have is the amount of packaging with this item

Received in well packaged box with detailed instructions

I wish it came with a thin removable cover so i don’t have to buy it separately

Competitiveness

No major difference compared to the hush though it does seem light for 20lbs

Too light and it wont work effectively too heavy and it will feel smothering

The beads tend to pool together due to the stitching lines which are too far apart

Overall it’s a decent blanket and does the job but closer rows of stitching would make it function better
