Pros
Need the latch that's for lid to be able to lock the lid. When one gets hurt we give it (in the ordered item) time to heal, and leave when it's ready.
Cons
Made of an extremely light weight flimsy wood. The lid is very soft and flexes a lot when being opened and closed. Installing a breeding box should not be a two person job.
The dowels were gone in seconds. Had it in the cage for two lovebirds and already chewed through the wood in two days. I have 4 parakeets- in the first week they completely chewed off the perch.
