I am using wireless only but may expand to power over ethernet and it is able to reach my outdoor sheds although i do need a signal repeater built in to the cameras to get to the furthest point

Option to be able to view the images on a mobile device is easy to set up and found the app really good for example the system can be set up to provide alerts when movement is detected and the alert normally comes through within seconds
