It will also bend the back plate away from the rack when tightening down deforming the hooks

Im not a welder but it doesnt look like it can handle 1000 lbs as stated in the description

Not sure what happened in the past but the jhooks i just received had screws that did not stick out of the rear of the plate

Smaller complaint is that the screws on the face which hold the padding in place were sticking out when the product arrived

Theres no danger of the bar jumping out but just seems silly that they didnt angle this slightly so the bar naturally rolls towards the cage instead of away from it
