If you use a seat bag for your tools or a rack and bag you will have to use something else while the camera is mounted on the seat rails

Ive tried modifying other mounts for the rear but have not been able to find a solution as stable as this mount or a mount that will not obstruct the cameras view with the rear wheel

I might add that we ride a tandem and the stoker does not like anything mounted on the seat post that might rub her legs during the pedal stroke

This is not an issue with this mount and certainly not unique to tandems
