The size of the board and pieces are small but still manageable. I chose to mcgyver that other one, so that it would stay in place during use while traveling, etc. It's portable and functional.

Received a full set of nicely crafted pieces. The set is very nice for travel.

The set is small enough that it can fit in some jacket pockets (depth permitting), purses, glove boxes, etc. Small enough to fit in a coat pocket or small backpack pocket. Can fit in my medium sized purse.

Pieces slide around too easily, weak magnets, difficult to handle without messing up positions, cheapo construction. Needs endless re-gluing of the pieces' magnets. A piece of junk.

Don't buy it. Look and feel very cheap. Just plain not fun to use. Knife is not a right tool for young kids.
