Pros & Cons
Pros
Tiles are not as large as the extra large version (which is more expensive) but still a decent size. The tile back is a nicely shaded green. Tiles are lighter than your normal tile, but i see it as a positive as it makes the set lighter to carry.
Good for family bonding. The instructional book gives you the basic understanding and even encourages you take an easy strategy to start off. My aunt uses it every week when her aunties all come over and they all envy her set.
Wooden case is very beautiful and sturdy with felt inside. The wooden storage box looks very elegant and can be stored in a bookcase blending well.
The set i got fits my needs and requirements. I'm satisfied, it’s not you standard size mahjong but it's not too small.
Cons
Got the cheapy version of this mahjong set. Super disappointed and will return it asap. The tiles are way too light. Not as pictured.
