Pros
The finish has a nice satin appearance and a depth to it that’s is quite lovely. This makes for not only and enjoyable game but one that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
The only downside is its durability. The booklet is very basic, so i highly recommended getting a book to go along with it. Shipping was promptly and securely.
Apparently, the smaller grid on one side produces a simpler game.

The 13x13 side is very useful for the beginners in the house. Great for quick or beginner games. Don't write off the game of go because you don't like chess.
Cons
The front of the board is as pictured, but the back is completely different. I'm upset and disappointed that something i was so excited to give as a special gift has turned into a disastrous headache. There must be some issue with the glue used.

It is with foam on all four corners and it is inside its felt storage bag included in the price

It includes a fullsize grid and on the reverse sidea smaller practice grid
Ive been playing go off and on for years but this is the first time ive ever treated myself to a real fullsize wooden board
I prefer nonelectronic games where there is face to face competition
If you plan on looking at more expensive products down the line

I can imagine it might be more vulnerable in a humid environment but it is very dry in my hometown

It comes with a cheap “felt” case but i’m pretty sure it’s not a wool felt

The board is longer than it is wide so make sure you put it back in the bag properly otherwise you won’t be able to get the bag to close
