I was holding the yarn straight out to the left of the winder and again was having the issues of it going under the winder

This winder cant handle the bigger rolls so you either have to split them or wait until youve used at least half before rewinding them

A single complaint the metal guide you see sticking out is very necessary but wont stay out after the first couple of winds no matter how careful you try to be
